Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy a Fylax tag or subscribe to Fylax+. Please read them before you pay. Version of 8 October 2026.

Who sells to you

A stainless-steel tag, laser-engraved with the text you choose, with a QR code and an NFC chip that open your emergency page.
Your emergency page stays online at no extra cost for as long as you keep your account. Fylax+ is an optional subscription that adds the document assistant.
Fylax shows the information you provide. It is not a medical device, doesn’t give medical advice, and can’t guarantee that someone will scan your tag in an emergency.

Prices are in euros and include VAT. Any shipping cost is shown before you pay.
Stripe takes the payment when you place the order. We never see your card details.
The contract is made when your payment goes through. You receive a confirmation e-mail.

We engrave each tag to order and check that its QR code and NFC chip open your page before we send it.
We e-mail you when your tag ships, with a tracking number where available. If we haven’t delivered within 30 days of your order, you can cancel it for a full refund.

Tags are engraved with the text you choose, so they are made to your specification and the 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases doesn’t apply to them (Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU). We ask you to confirm this before you pay. Your rights for faulty tags, below, are not affected.
Fylax+: you can withdraw within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason, and get a full refund. E-mail us using the details above. After that you can cancel at any time from the “Order a tag” page; Fylax+ stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for and isn’t charged again.

You have the legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery. If a tag is faulty, arrives damaged, or doesn’t show the text you approved, we replace it free of charge or refund you.
We engrave exactly the text you enter and show you a preview first, so please check it carefully.
A tag that no longer opens your page because you deactivated it or deleted your account isn’t faulty. You can reactivate it, or order a new one.

You decide what is on it and keep it up to date. Responders see it exactly as you entered or approved it.
We work to keep it available at all times, but can’t promise it will never be interrupted. If the service ever closes, we’ll tell you in advance, and you can download all your data.

If we can’t resolve it, you can turn to the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman (synigoroskatanaloti.gr), another certified out-of-court dispute body, or the courts.

Greek law applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of its mandatory consumer law.
We may update these terms. Each order is governed by the version you accepted. For Fylax+, we’ll e-mail you at least 30 days before a change takes effect, and you can cancel before then.
